Center for Story-based Strategy (formerly smartMeme) is supporting APEN in framing and messaging their groundbreaking statewide Solar For All campaign in California. This campaign aims to incentivize solar development in working class and poor communities that have been hardest hit by fossil fuel pollution and environmental injustice, and make solar energy an engine of jobs for California's communities of color.
Bay Area 2030: Slides, Shocks and Shifts - Which future?
Center for Story-based Strategy (formerly smartMeme) is collaborating with Movement Generation Justice & Ecology Project and the Occidental Arts & Ecology Center to develop scenarios, assess threats and explore strategies for a just transition to a sustainable economy. This multiphase experimental project will identify key trends, articulate new strategies and engage fellow movement leaders in an ongoing dialogue around strengthening our movements for resilient communities and ecological justice.
Echo Justice: Building Movement Communications Capacity
Center for Story-based Strategy (formerly smartMeme) is in collaboration with the Center for Media Justice, UNITY Alliance, Praxis Project, Movement Strategy Center and Progressive Communicators Network and other social justice communicators to incubate and launch the Echo Justice initiative. SmartMeme is a member of the Climate Justice Allignment process and is committed to helping build the movement for Climate Justice!
National Day Laborers Organizing Network
Center for Story-based Strategy (formerly smartMeme) is partnering with NDLON to support their ongoing fight to end racial profiling and defend the human rights of migrants. We co-convened the 2012 Turning the Talk gathering in Altanta, Georgia to provide story-based strategy training to migrant rights leaders. SmartMeme is also amplifying the "No Papers, No Fear" Ride for Justice with narrative development and action design support.
National Domestic Workers Alliance
Center for Story-based Strategy (formerly smartMeme) is honored to support NDWA's trailblazing efforts to amplify the voices of domestic workers organizing for rights and respect. Our ongoing partnership includes story-based strategy training, capacity building and direct framing and messaging support to NDWA projects, such the first major national report on domestic workers developed through participatory action research.
Right to the City Alliance
